Anthony, Manchester United’s transfer target, has revealed his happiness at staying at Ajax.
It’s a blow to former president Erik ten Hag, who is said to have tried to reunite him with the 22-year-old at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils were priced out of the Anthony deal after the Dutch champions demanded a whopping £68m.
The wing informed the Dutch outlet NOS How he likes to play for the Amsterdam giants.
He said, “Will Tin Hag call me? I have no idea. He has to discuss this with my agents, I’m focused here. What’s coming is coming, we’ll see.”
“I feel good at Ajax. I give everything for this club, every minute. So I love this city and this club.”
On Sunday, Anthony showed United fans what they lacked as he crossed the mark in the Eredivisie this season.
He broke through from the right side and fired a missile into the top corner during a 6-1 win over Groningen.
It’s an example of why coach Ten Hag considered the Brazilian a key target after working with him at Ajax last season.
Failed Tottenham Steven Bergwijn also scored a hat-trick, but it was Anthony’s forward who made Manchester United fans cry.

With the 22-year-old on contract until 2025, Ajax is under no pressure to sell this summer.
They have already sold Lisandro Martinez to United, as well as lashing Sebastian Haller, Ryan Gravenburch and Nicolas Tagliafico for £100m.
Martinez started in the first half on Saturday after the Red Devils lost 4-0 to Brentford.
The Dutch coach demanded that the team come to receive more training after the 4-0 defeat by Shabib against Brentford.
The players were due to have a day off after the trip to London.
But SunSport is aware that Ten Hag is forcing his players to go to Carrington for an extra training session.
