August 2022 PS Plus Premium games forgot their most important bills

While the layers themselves are a bit confusing at first glance, Sony’s reveal and release style for PS PlusThe basic, additional and premium levels are very straightforward. The unveiling of each comes less than a week before their release, and players will get Basic level games at the beginning of the month and Extra and Premium at the end of the month. This means that fans can already claim the free / basic PS Plus games for August 2022, which include Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 Cross-Gen Deluxe Bundle, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, And the Little nightmares.

Today’s video games

On August 16, Sony will release the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for August 2022, which currently come with a total of 12 games. It should be noted that the July show included a surprise game, which was only revealed after its inclusion, and will likely be repeated again. It will probably only be one match. The problem here, though, is that that was supplemental, and the July releases in this section were solid on their own. However, PS Plus Extra and Premium games seem to have forgotten something.

PS Premium Games August 2022 Has A Huge Gap Where Something Should Be Important

It’s worth noting that this selection of PS Plus games is solid. includes three yakuza Toys (0, KiwamiAnd the Kiwami 2)And the ghost recon wildlands, And the subway displacementAll of them are big game lovers who can spend a lot of time in them. Join them in the popular multiplayer game Died in broad daylight and cutesy bognax, While Everspace Maybe a smaller game that some fans can dive into too. The same goes for Trials of manaAnd, there are a few mini card/party games that join in for added appeal: Uno, monopoly madnessAnd the Monopoly Plus. However, the longer a person looks at this list, the clearer it is that something is missing.

  • bognax
  • Died in broad daylight
  • Everspace
  • Ghost Recon Wildlands
  • subway displacement
  • Monopoly Madness
  • Monopoly Plus
  • Trials of Mana (modern version of the 1995 game)
  • UNO
  • Yakuza 0
  • yakuza kioyami
  • Yakuza kioyami 2

There are no PS1, PS2, PS3, or PSP games included in this list. In fact, one way for the PS Plus Extra and Premium edge on Xbox Game Pass style is to focus and category for classic games. There are headlines like Dino Crisis That Sony has raised, but not yet added to the service. It didn’t need to be that specifically, but it’s clear that ignoring one of her biggest calls for premium service isn’t great. After all, this makes the Extra tier currently look more attractive than Premium. It’s not certain why Sony hasn’t included at least two classic games, but hopefully that’s not a trend.

Certainly, PS Plus Extra category, access to many big and popular AAA games, and more are important factors for the service. But its selection of classic games has been hailed as one of its biggest distinguishing features, and the nostalgia it provides is great for attracting subscribers. However, for this month, nostalgia was not taken into account. Now, there may be surprise classic games added, but they are unreliable and should not be hidden. PS Plus Premium was loud and proud of its classic catalog prior to release, which means every month should be loud and proud too. Ignoring them, even for one month, is like ignoring the highest bill for a movie. It just doesn’t make sense.

PS Plus Premium New games will be released on August 16th.
