Cloud9 are losing in the fifth place tiebreaker game FlyQuest, then the LCS Championship will open the opening round of the game

The playoff course for LCS is finally officially set. Cloud 9 finished the 2022 LCS Summer Split in fifth position and bumped FlyQuest to sixth with a tiebreaker on Sunday night.

The win felt so methodical and predetermined as it may feel at the professional stage. The following story from a 30-minute to a 30-minute-win-shaped bow to a staple North American League of Legends org reveals the destruction of four straight dragons, two Rift Heralds and a Baron built in the end of the year.

Across the world, Zeri, Yuumi and Sivir became proverbial poster children of the fundamentalities. Berserker and Zven, Cloud9s top-lane duo, – with the Slayer of the West with the help of top laner Gwen -, and left little doubt about the terror the picks caused in talent.

That’s what Cloud 9 does in the epoch despite it losing place on the final day. talent is certainly more than any team in the LCS. If there’s anyone who can upset the seemingly pre-determined top three of Team Liquid, the 100 Thieves, and Evil Geniusesand strike the Worlds slot awayits absolutely Cloud9.

For FlyQuest, the game was really a microcosm of the split for the org, with the feel-good branding and likeable players trying to bring their names into the LCS elite, especially in the event of a split of the perennial rival TSM having the eventful split. They were close and they put their best effort, but a glaring talent difference proves to be too big and too big for the boys in green.

The LCS Championship begins on the Saturday, August 20th at 3 o’clock. Tiebreaker winners Cloud9 and Counter Logic Gaming will face off, while FlyQuest will take on Team Liquid. The losers of both matches will compete in the losers bracket as well as Golden Guardians and TSM.
