Former Real Madrid star Carlos Secretario is in intensive care after suffering a stroke.
O Jojo claims the 52-year-old remains in hospital after his health scare over the weekend.
It was first reported that Secretario was in intensive care after a car accident.
But oh jojo It was later confirmed that the former defender had suffered a stroke instead.
Secretario has made a name for himself as a usurping right-back,
The peak of his career came during a season with Real Madrid in the 1996-1997 season.
Secretario played 13 games in Los Blancos and won the La Liga.
But Secretario’s main success came during two spells at Porto on both sides of his stint at Real Madrid.
The ace has won an astonishing six La Liga titles, as well as five Portuguese Cups.
He was also part of the team that won the 2004 Champions League under Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
Secretario also played 35 caps for Portugal, which helped them reach third place at Euro 2000.
His previous clubs have praised him for sending messages of recovery on social media.
Real Madrid said: “Real Madrid CF, its president and board of directors would like to send a message of support and all our affection to former Real Madrid player Carlos Secretario.
“We wish him a speedy recovery. Stay strong.”
Porto added: “Be strong Carlos Secretario. The blue and white family unite in a message of strength for our former player.”
Porto coach Sergio Conceicao also sent a moving message after playing alongside Secretario.
He told reporters, “There is an element of our structure [Eduardo Oliveira, a physical trainer who lost his father] who is going through a difficult time.
“I also received news that an ex-colleague of mine is sick in the hospital. I don’t have a big smile.”
