In the video, the man who was accompanied by Rabiot said: “I am here with the wonderful player Rabiot from Juventus and now in England. So I wish you the best brother. Bye.”

And Rabiot replied, “Thank you, goodbye.”

Rabiot, 27, has been linked with a £15m transfer to Manchester United from Italian club Juventus.

And after United Football Club manager John Murtaugh visited Turin to finalize the deal, it now appears to have been completed.

Murtaug traveled to Italy last week to negotiate the details of Rabiot’s contract with his agent and mother, Veronique.

The talks reportedly went well, and now the video that surfaced today appears to show the fruits of this work on both sides.

Man United plunged into deeper crisis this week after their 4-0 humiliation against Brentford.

The Reds were trailing 4-0 in the space of 35 minutes, the fastest conceding four goals in the Premier League era.

United’s goal in this window was to try to recruit Frenkie de Jong, but this has proven futile so far, United instead opting to try to sign Rabiot.

The deal for him was met with a backlash from fans and analysts alike, with former player Lou Macari openly questioning his move on United’s MUTV.

SunSport revealed that Rabiot’s stats were worse than midfield peers Fred and Scott McTominay, so it’s clear to see why some were disappointed with the transfer.
