Riot will begin deleting very old League of Legends accounts

There are criteria for who to meet.

Riot Games will start to delete games with newcomers, but don’t worry it is unlikely to be yours. According to a new announcement from the developer, Riot will end all inactive accounts across his roster of games.

Retired accounts are considered inactive. There’s also some criteria that they must meet for the solution to the problem. These are the following:

  • Accounts are inactive.
  • In the end, Account did not purchase game currency.
  • There was no game currency that Account received in its lifetime.
  • Account has played fewer than twenty hours.
  • Account doesn’t have limited edition rules.

If you fall into one of these categories, stop complaining; you should be contacted, then it’s up to you. Football accounts marked have received an email message to the address linked to their accounts.

Riot plans to introduce an inactive account deletion policy, giving players the ability to opt out of the account deletion process.

We don’t get that right now.

Because of the strict guidelines for deleting, it is very likely that your account isn’t on the chopping block unless you haven’t gone out of Riots catalog for a long time. If you don’t find out the count that the digits were affected, you’ll have to write a new ID for the old Riot, as it seems to be gone.
