Nintendo is not associated with the new Switch anti-piracy software


Denuvo claims that Nintendo is not involved in the Switch’s new anti-piracy program.

Earlier this week, unpopular DRM company Denuvo announced that it’s bringing “Nintendo Switch Emulator Protection” to its hybrid handheld console. This technology was designed to prevent unauthorized emulation of Switch games on PC, but its introduction has been frowned upon by Nintendo fans. Despite the company’s insistence that DRM integration does not affect gaming performance, gamers tend to disagree.
